- i The plan price is $299 per month and is paid through recurring ACH authorization.
- i Computers, NAS/storage, sensors, and networks are excluded from the stated parts, onsite labor, and travel coverage.
- i Cancellation requires written notice at least 30 days in advance.
- i Coverage does not begin until the required paperwork is received and the submitted bank ACH information is verified.
- i Enrollment is subject to Encompass approval and is limited to the serialized equipment and original installation address listed in the agreement. Coverage does not transfer to a new owner or location.
- i A lapse in coverage requires a $595 reactivation fee. A lapse of three months or more also requires re-certification, which may include an onsite visit at the customer's expense.
- i Damage caused by accidents, disasters, misuse, improper maintenance or power, unauthorized modifications or service, relocation, software or network issues, viruses, and third-party software is not covered.
- i Customers remain responsible for backups, data recovery or migration, taxes and governmental charges, and other excluded IT or network services.
Protection plan questions
What does the extended warranty plan include?
The agreement describes unlimited telephone support plus covered parts, onsite labor, and technician travel expenses. Computers, NAS/storage, sensors, and networks are excluded. Final coverage is governed by the signed Equipment Protection Plan.
How much does the plan cost?
The extended warranty plan is offered at $299 per month through recurring ACH payment authorization.
Can I cancel the plan?
Yes. The offer provides for cancellation with at least 30 days' advance notice in writing, subject to the signed plan terms.
What happens if I do not enroll?
You can still contact the Encompass support team. Service without the plan is billed at $199 per hour with a one-hour minimum, plus applicable parts and travel expenses.
When does coverage begin?
Coverage begins after Encompass receives the completed Equipment Protection and Recurring ACH Payment Authorization documents and verifies the bank ACH information.
Does the plan transfer if the equipment or practice is sold or moved?
No. The agreement is associated with the listed serialized equipment, customer, and original installation address. It does not transfer to a new owner or location.
What happens if coverage lapses?
Reactivation requires a $595 fee. If the lapse is three months or longer, the equipment must also be re-certified and any required onsite re-certification is performed at the customer's expense.
Are replacement parts always new?
No. Encompass may provide new or refurbished replacement parts at its discretion. Defective parts must be returned, and Encompass may require evaluation before sending a replacement.
